As a D.C. area cat sitter, people sometimes ask me where they can access low-cost vaccinations for their cats or dogs. The Humane Rescue Alliance has the most low-cost and frequent clinics. DC’s free clinic which is held annually in each ward won’t be happening until later this fall.

CITY OF DC HEALTH DEPARTMENT
Annually, a vaccine clinic has been scheduled on a Saturday in each of the Wards. Currently, no clinic has been scheduled for 2022. It looks like it will be sometime in the fall. Remember, dogs need to be leashed and cats in their carriers.
