Blue Buffalo has issued a voluntary recall on their 12.5 ounce can of Homestyle Recipe Healthy Weight, Chicken Dinner with Garden Vegetables dog food lot number 8-40243-10017-0 with an expiration date of August 3, 2019.
This one specific lot of Blue Buffalo Homestyle canned dog food may be contaminated with aluminum metal.
If you find cans with this lot, you can return to your local retailer for a full refund.
Please note no other Blue Buffalo products are involved. They have received no reports of illness or injury due to this issue.
